Within our mission, we will make every effort to collaborate with other organizations that have similar interests in promoting, presenting and preserving Serbian culture, such as the Serbian Orthodox Church in North America, institutions of Higher Education and their Alumni Organizations (e.g., to establish FOSCA clubs), representatives of Serbia in the USA, businesses, and promoters and managers organizing Serbian cultural events.
With that in mind, we would like to point out that:
- We are not an organization of any country or state.
- We are not a religious organization – our mission is secular and people of all faiths are welcome to participate. We bear the name of St Sava as a symbol of enlightenment and togetherness, rather than one religious in nature.
- We are a non-profit, not a business.
- We are not a political organization. Political activities, such as broad or categorical pronouncements or missives, will not be allowed within the organization.
